The Rosette Spoon

A teaspoon with a flower pressed into the bowl and a glazed ceramic handle. It is a small piece of theatre for something you pick up every single morning.

The bowl is 410 stainless steel struck into a rose or a cherry blossom, so what you see at the bottom of the cup is a flower rather than a plain oval. The handle is glazed ceramic instead of bare metal, which means it stays cool when the spoon is standing in something hot, and it carries a little weight so it does not feel tinny. It is 11.5cm long, which is the right size for espresso, matcha, dessert, and stirring honey into a small cup.

Care. Hand wash and dry it. The glaze on the handle will go dull in a dishwasher over a year or so, and rinsing it takes about ten seconds.
