Returns & Refunds

Short version: 30 days, no interrogation. If something's wrong with the item, we cover the return shipping. If you simply changed your mind, you cover it.

Return window

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. To be eligible, the item should be unused and in its original packaging. We understand "unused" is hard to judge for something like a whisk — if you took it out of the box and decided it wasn't for you, that's fine. If it's been used to make a dozen bowls of matcha, it isn't returnable.

Damaged, defective, or wrong item

Email us a photo within 7 days of delivery. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer, and we pay all shipping costs. In most cases you won't be asked to ship anything back.

Changed your mind

Contact us within 30 days and we'll send return instructions. Return shipping is your responsibility, and the actual cost is deducted from your refund. There is no restocking fee.

How to start a return

Email us with your order number and a sentence about what went wrong. That's the whole process. We'll respond within one business day with next steps and, where applicable, a prepaid label.

Refund timing

Once your return arrives and is inspected, we'll email to confirm and issue the refund to your original payment method within 2 business days. Your bank or card issuer typically takes another 5–10 business days to post it — that part is out of our hands.

For damaged or incorrect items where no return is required, we refund immediately upon confirming the photo.

Cancellations

If your order hasn't shipped yet, email us and we'll cancel and refund in full, no questions asked. Once it has shipped, treat it as a return.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange something is to return the original for a refund and place a new order. If that's inconvenient, email us and we'll work it out.

Non-returnable

Gift cards, and any item returned more than 30 days after delivery. That's the entire list.

If we get it wrong

If our handling of your return doesn't seem right to you, reply and say so. We would rather resolve it directly than have you file a dispute with your bank, and we will almost always find a way.
